Great to meet you!

I'm Staci Jackson, LMFT. I have over ten years of experience providing counseling to individuals and families, as well as training and supervising fellow therapists. I received my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. Much of my experience has been working with youth and families impacted by generational or childhood trauma, challenging family relationship dynamics, behavioral issues, emotional challenges, anxiety, depression, self-harm, parenting struggles, foster care, and adoption.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Collaboration, compassion, and empathy is at the heart of my practice. My aim is to foster mutual respect and trust, where clients feel understood, empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings, and safely able to share their challenges without judgement. I work closely with clients to set goals, develop strategies, and celebrate progress. I specialize in issues related to attachment, trauma/overwhelming life experiences, child behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, parenting, challenging relationships, and issues related to foster care or adoption. Having a both a clinical and Christian graduate education, also allows me to incorporate Biblical faith-based counseling by request.

What you can expect from our first session

I work closely with clients to set goals, develop strategies through research supported practices, and celebrate progress. Clients are encouraged to take an active role in this process making decisions that align with their values and goals. I offer a multi-modal approached utilizing research-based supports including behavioral and trauma (ARC trained) focused approaches as well as DBT, CBT, and MI. For those seeking to understand and approach their challenges through a faith based or biblical lens, Vine Counseling also offers Christian counseling supports upon request.
