Great to meet you!

I received my masters in social work in 2017 from University of Denver and obtained my bachelors in social work and therapeutic recreation in 2015 from Southern Illinois University. I have worked in various settings with different populations from schools (elementary and middle school) child protective services, rehabilitation facility, a nursing home, in home therapy for adults with cognitive disabilities, in home support for adults with learning disabilities, and more. I consider myself a generalist, but have the MOST experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults to address anxiety, depression, and ADD/ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to focus on how to modify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I like to focus on the well-being of your physical, mental, social, and emotional health.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, you can expect it to be a "get to know you" where I will learn about why you are seeking therapy, what your hopes are for therapy, and working collaboratively on developing a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. I want to meet you where you are at in your mental health needs.
