Great to meet you!

I’m Stacie Handel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to providing a warm, empathetic, and supportive environment where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relational difficulties, stress, and coping challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you gain insight, strengthen emotional well-being, and develop healthier patterns in your life and relationships. I am passionate about helping people move toward greater self-awareness, balance, and authentic happiness while feeling supported throughout the process. While my therapeutic approach is personalized to each individual, I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for lasting growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where I take the time to get to know you not only as a client, but as a person. We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss any challenges you may be experiencing, and begin identifying goals you would like to work toward. At the same time, it is completely okay if you are unsure of what you want to focus on right away. Therapy is a process, and together we can explore your experiences, gain clarity, and determine meaningful goals along the way.
