Great to meet you!

You've been carrying things that most people around you could never fully understand, and pretending you're fine has stopped working. I work with people healing from trauma, panic, and the kind of anxiety that never seems to fully turn off, including active duty military, veterans, and first responders like police officers, firefighters, and EMS professionals. My focus is helping people move out of survival mode and back into a life that feels like their own. I understand that what you've been through shapes how you show up every day, and I meet you exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

Together we use EMDR and EMI to help calm a nervous system that has been stuck in fight or flight for far too long. Clients leave our work together with fewer nightmares, fewer intrusive flashbacks, and a real sense that the past no longer runs the show. I go deep on trauma and panic rather than trying to be everything to everyone, because specialized, evidence based care gets you real relief faster. This work fits best for people ready to actively participate in their healing rather than just talk about it week after week. I have seen people who survived violent crime, serious accidents, abuse, neglect, and substance dependency find their way to lasting recovery through EMDR, EMI, and steady, focused clinical support.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together is about comfort, safety, and starting to build trust between us. We will go at your pace, and you will never be pushed to share more than you're ready for. We'll review what brought you here, talk through what's been weighing on you, and start mapping out a plan that feels realistic and hopeful. You'll leave that first conversation with a clearer sense of where we're headed and a genuine feeling that healing is possible. If any of this sounds like where you are right now, I'd love for you to reach out.
