Great to meet you!

I believe therapy begins with meeting you where you are. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting youth, families, adolescents, young adults, couples, and individuals of all genders. I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and the effects of domestic violence.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College and my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. As someone originally from Jamaica, I value creating an inclusive space where your culture, identity, strengths, and experiences are respected.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and individualized. I integrate Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, task-focused therapy, and systems theory based on your needs and goals.

Together, we’ll identify what you want to change, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to support healthier thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be a welcoming opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and identify your goals. We’ll begin getting to know each other, explore your strengths and support system, and talk about how therapy can best meet your needs.

You can expect a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can communicate openly and move at a pace that feels comfortable.
