Great to meet you!

I am a queer and nonbinary therapist providing gender and sexuality affirming care for queer adults. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, substance use, neurodivergence, and complex trauma. I also support clients exploring nontraditional relationships, including ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and kink dynamics.

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and values-based. I integrate CBT, ACT, EMDR, and motivational interviewing to gently challenge you, strengthen insight, clarify your personal values, and build skills for healthy intimacy, emotional regulation, and authentic, true to you living.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in CBT and ACT, though I am not attached to any one specific modalities. I am highly collaborative to use the approach which you are more interested in and best suited for your presenting concerns. I will always seek consent for adjusting or using a new approach to therapy because I believe therapy best works when you have an active role in our work together. Because of this, I also use parts of IFS, somatic work, exposure and response therapy and am trained in EMDR to provide you with many options to best meet your needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will collaborate on what goals you have for therapy and decide which interventions might be most helpful for you whether that is process oriented, or more directly challenging of an approach. I create a collaborative environment that is direct. I do not believe change occurs from just 50 minutes a week together, so if homework interests you, I am glad to offer it though it's not required to work with me! I will offer a space to support you, challenge your less helpful patterns, and as needed directly offer alternative strategies so you can see benefits within our first few sessions.
