Great to meet you!

  • Both clinical expertise and lived experience are essential in truly connecting with clients. As a therapist and a mother, wife, and daughter, I have navigated many of life's transitions, challenges, and joys. This personal journey supports the work of individuals, couples, and families as they navigate their own paths. Evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy are integrated into the work, giving individuals practical tools to manage emotions, enhance communication, and build a more fulfilling life and relationships.
  • I believe in :
  • Creating a warm and affirming environment: The goal is to build genuine rapport and make clients feel seen, heard, and deeply understood throughout sessions.
  • Emphasizing strengths and resources: Rather than emphasizing past problems, strengths, skills, and successes are actively explored to empower clients in overcoming current challenges.
  • Collaborating to find practical solutions: Actionable strategies tailored to the unique situation and needs are developed.
  • A strong belief in your capacity for change: An optimistic and hopeful outlook is held, believing that everyone has the resilience and wisdom to create positive shifts in their lives.

My education includes specific training and focus on couples therapy and individual therapy based on CBT, DBT and Solutions-focused approaches.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples find their strengths and build fulfilling lives. My approach to therapy is built on warmth, affirmation, and a solutions-focused perspective. Clients are considered the experts on their own lives, and the therapist's role is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where experiences can be explored, goals can be identified, and the resources already possessed can be uncovered to achieve positive change. As a therapist, I work to collaboratively to identify what's working well in your life and amplify those successes. The focus will be on the desired future and the tangible steps you can take to make that vision a reality.

What you can expect from me

  • Emphasis will be on developing actionable strategies that clients can implement in their daily lives to move towards their goals.
  • Progress will be tracked and celebrated, reinforcing clients' motivation and commitment to change.
  • The focus will be on the future, with minimal dwelling on past problems or issues.

In essence, clients can anticipate a therapy experience that is respectful, non-blaming, and collaborative, with the goal of empowering clients to achieve their desired future.
