Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) with more than 30 years of experience helping adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate life's challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, or a major life transition, I'm here to provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Over the past three decades, I've had the privilege of working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional abuse, parenting challenges, relationship difficulties, adjustment issues, and life stressors. In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive experience as a clinical supervisor and have served as an expert witness in child sexual abuse cases, providing specialized insight into the impact of trauma and resilience across the lifespan.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and I'm passionate about helping my clients move toward a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic.

Taking the first step toward therapy is an important decision. If you're ready to begin, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping skills, and build on your strengths so you can create lasting, meaningful change. I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself.

My approach is personalized to your unique needs and draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with mindfulness, grounding techniques, and other evidence-based strategies. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, work through difficult emotions, and develop tools to help you feel more confident and resilient.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect During Your First Session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can share what's bringing you to therapy at your own pace.

We'll talk about the challenges you're currently facing, your personal history, what's worked for you in the past, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there is no pressure to share everything at once. You are always in control of what you choose to discuss.

By the end of our session, you'll have a better understanding of my approach, and together we'll identify goals and develop a plan that fits your unique needs. Many clients leave their first appointment feeling relieved to have taken the first step and hopeful that positive change is possible.

My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and confident that we're working together toward your goals.
