Great to meet you!

I believe caring for our mental health is essential to finding happiness, peace, and stability in life. Reaching out for counseling isn't always easy, and I'm glad you've taken that step!

With over 20 years of experience in hospital, school, and private practice settings, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addiction Specialist, and credentialed school counselor with a master's degree in Counseling. I've helped individuals, couples, and adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions.

I believe everyone has a unique story and deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. I look forward to helping you discover your strengths, make positive changes, and create a happier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhealthy thinking patterns, develop coping skills, and make positive changes. I also incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), when appropriate, to help clients process painful experiences and reduce emotional distress. I focus on improving communication, establishing healthy boundaries, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person's individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get acquainted. I will listen to your concerns, learn about your experiences, and discuss what you hope to accomplish in therapy. Together, we will begin identifying goals and developing a plan that works for you. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself.
