Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Stacy Lindo , a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I earned my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and have experience working in residential and outpatient treatment settings with adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. In addition to providing individual therapy, I serve in a clinical leadership role, where I support both clients and clinicians in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

My passion is helping adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem issues, and emotional overwhelm. I have specialized training in trauma treatment, including EMDR-informed interventions, and I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful change.

As a therapist, I am warm, supportive, and collaborative while also being direct when needed. I believe that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and compassion. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences, developing new coping skills, and moving toward the life they want to create.

I understand that seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you're used to carrying everything on your own. Whether you're working through past trauma, navigating relationship challenges, adjusting to a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck, I am committed to helping you identify your strengths and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

I primarily work with adults and am honored to support clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe our relationships, life experiences, and personal stories shape how we see ourselves and interact with the world. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and EMDR-informed techniques. These approaches help clients better understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, process difficult experiences, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.

I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, family dynamics, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives and relationships.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will begin getting to know one another, talk through your current challenges, and identify goals for our work together. Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can begin to share what has been weighing on them and what they hope to gain from therapy. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood while we explore the concerns that brought them in, whether that involves anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, or feelings of overwhelm. I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I move at a pace that feels manageable and safe.

I take a collaborative approach and tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based and trauma-informed practices such as CBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and EMDR-informed techniques when appropriate. Clients can expect to leave the session with a clearer sense of direction, a foundation of support, and hope for meaningful growth and healing.
