Great to meet you!

I believe that personal growth is a lifelong process, and everyone benefits from support along the way. I am committed to making our time together meaningful and am respectful of your effort, time and money. I work with individuals, couples & families navigating life challenges; life transitions, health, relationships, career, parenting, work & family stress. Originally from the Midwest, I have lived in CO and CA but now call the PNW home! I bring a compassionate & direct approach and I'm trained in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities. Whether it's your 1st time in counseling or just need "a tune up", your goals and progress will remain front and center of our work together. Let's do a no-cost consultation to see if we're a fit!

My approach to therapy

My aim is to provide immediate and reliable support and the very 1st question for you is “How can I be helpful”? Based on your needs and comfort, I adapt a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed, and strengths-based solution-focused approaches, to help identify and reshape unhealthy thoughts, emotions and/or behavior patterns that impair your quality of life. My approach is kind, direct, interactive, and always without judgement. Through honest collaboration and actively working on achievable goals, we’ll plan for you to feel better and objectively mark your progress. I specialize in working with older adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as relationship concerns—including dating patterns, marriage, and divorce—as well as grief and loss. I support parents who feel overwhelmed raising high spirited or neurodiverse children, caregivers in need of guidance, and individuals seeking support with weight management. I invite you to share what’s on your mind, and together we can explore how best to support your goals.
