Great to meet you!

I began my career with a passion for working with children, and over the years, my practice has expanded to support individuals of all ages and genders. I specialize in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and have worked extensively with trauma survivors, including those affected by sexual assault. I'm also trained in critical incident stress management and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), allowing me to support both individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. I earned my degree from West Texas A&M and bring a deep understanding of generational perspectives, having worked with clients from childhood through adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I offer a solution-focused, conversational, and real-world approach to therapy. My sessions aim to help clients better understand the “why” behind their thoughts and behaviors, while also equipping them with tools to manage the present. I often support clients through crisis, and adapt my approach to meet you where you are—whether that means digging into background or focusing on immediate, actionable steps. My style is warm, personable, and centered on genuine connection.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to understand your history and what brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll define your goals and explore what progress would look like. In follow-up sessions, we’ll check in on how things are going, set new goals, and use CBT-based strategies to connect your thoughts, feelings, and actions. I often assign reflective homework to help increase awareness and deepen your growth between sessions. Each session is tailored to you, with the goal of helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
