Great to meet you!

My name is Stacy Troutt. I have been a fully licensed LPC for 8 years, and working in the mental health field since since graduating in December 2012. I have worked in multiple levels of mental health care from inpatient, to day programs, to outpatient. I am particularly interested in Anxiety and how brain impacts our emotions and behavior.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a lot of CBT techniques in therapy to examine the ways a client is thinking, and how that may be affecting them. I use multiple interventions and enjoy using art and stories to make points more accessible.

What you can expect from our first session

I will ask clients to examine their own thought patterns and beliefs. Together we will examine how some of these patterns affect them physically and emotionally, and identify ways to change thinking patterns to be more beneficial.
