My journey into therapy started with a genuine passion for understanding people and helping them through life’s challenges. Early in my career, I worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating difficult transitions, and I saw firsthand how powerful it can be to have a safe, supportive space to heal and grow. Those experiences deepened my commitment to this work and inspired me to continue developing my skills in areas like anxiety, depression, life transitions, and marriage counseling. What continues to motivate me today is seeing clients discover their own resilience, strengthen their relationships, and take steps toward living more balanced, fulfilling lives. Each person’s growth reminds me why I chose this path... and why I love what I do!
I take a down-to-earth and supportive approach to therapy. I often use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps you notice and shift unhelpful thoughts and patterns, while also giving you practical tools to handle everyday challenges. I also take a holistic view, recognizing that your overall well-being—mind, body, and relationships—all play a role in how you feel. My goal is to work with you in a way that feels natural, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
Our first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your background, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There’s no right or wrong way to show up—this time is focused entirely on your needs. It’s completely normal to feel nervous before starting, and my role is to guide you through the process at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we’ll lay the foundation for a supportive and collaborative relationship that grows over time.
