Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm glad you found your way here. If you've been waking at 3am with your mind racing, snapping at the people you love, or quietly wondering when life started feeling this heavy — you're in the right place. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor (LPC-S) with more than two decades of experience walking alongside children, teens, and adults.

I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, and relentless stress, along with trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, anger that feels bigger than the moment, and the burnout that builds when you've been strong for everyone but yourself. Many of the adults I see are also managing hard relationship and family dynamics, major life transitions, women's health and identity questions, or the weight that substance use or a chronic health condition adds to everyday life.

Whatever brought you here, my goal is simple: that you leave each session feeling genuinely heard, a little lighter, and more confident that things can change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best as a partnership. You're the expert on your own life; I bring evidence-based tools and a warm, practical style focused on what actually moves the needle for you.

Much of my work draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to untangle the thoughts that fuel anxiety and low mood, paired with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) so we spend more time building what works. I use a Strength-Based, Humanistic lens — you're not a problem to be fixed — and Motivational Interviewing when you feel stuck between two paths. With younger clients, Play Therapy gives kids a natural way to express what words can't yet reach.

Sessions are collaborative and goal-driven: we get clear on what you want to be different, set concrete goals, track progress honestly, and adjust as life shifts. Expect me to be engaged and direct — I'll challenge you gently, celebrate the wins, and send you off with tools for between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about you — what brought you in, what's felt hard, and what you're hoping will feel different. Together we'll name your goals and build a plan that fits your actual life, not a one-size-fits-all formula.

Over time, the people I work with tend to notice real, everyday shifts: anxiety that no longer runs the show, steadier moods, better sleep, and more honest communication with the people who matter. You may find yourself setting boundaries with less guilt and trusting your own judgment again.

You don't need to have it all figured out to begin. Bring your questions, your doubts, even your skepticism — I'll bring warmth, steadiness, and a clear sense of direction. Change is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.
