Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Stavros, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and build a life that feels more like their own, and I'm here to help you do that at your own pace.

I bring over 15 years of community-based work to this, including 12 years in community health, supporting people through a wide range of personal and emotional challenges. That work shaped how I show up with clients now: practical, attentive to the whole picture, and never one-size-fits-all.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and down to earth. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not a lecture, so I bring warmth, a bit of humor when it fits, and genuine curiosity about what's going on for you. I draw on ACT, DBT, and CBT depending on what each person needs, all grounded in a strengths-based approach that starts from what's already working.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is mostly about getting to know each other; there's no pressure to have everything figured out or to know exactly what you want to work on. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy. I will gather some background to understand your history and what's worked or hasn't worked for you before. I aim to create an environment that feels safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative from the very first session.
