Great to meet you!

I’m Stefani, and I work with people navigating trauma, profound grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and the kinds of life changes that can leave you feeling unfamiliar to yourself. I don’t rush people or push past your pace, and I don’t flinch at the hard stuff. I’ve spent over a decade sitting with the kinds of pain most people avoid, and I believe healing happens when your nervous system feels safe, supported, and understood.

You don’t need the right words or a perfect story to begin — just a willingness to show up as you are. I work with adults and older adults who may be carrying trauma, grief and loss, end-of-life concerns, stress, relationship challenges, family issues, or questions around identity and meaning. Together, we’ll create space to move slowly, listen to what your body and story are telling us, and begin building trust in yourself again.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, body-informed, and paced with care. I work with people navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life changes that leave you feeling unfamiliar to yourself. I don’t rush people, push past your pace, or assume that healing has to happen all at once.

I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems, somatic work, attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, and polyvagal-informed approaches to help your nervous system feel safe enough for healing to take root. In sessions, we may explore how trauma, grief, relationships, identity, stress, and past experiences are affecting your present life. Our work may include grounding, emotional regulation, processing painful memories, reconnecting with your body, and making meaning from what you have lived through. Trauma and grief live in the body, and therapy can help create space for healing without forcing you beyond what feels manageable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we slow things down. You don’t need the right words, a perfect story, or a clear starting point — showing up is enough. I’ll ask some gentle questions about what’s bringing you in, what life looks like right now, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

By the end of our time together, you’ll have a sense of how I work, whether we feel like a good fit, and what our path forward might look like. No rushing, no deep dives before you’re ready — just space to begin. Over time, our work can help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, better able to manage anxiety or grief, and more supported as you move through trauma, loss, and life transitions at your own pace.
