Great to meet you!

Through the course of my career I have primarily worked with individuals who are experiencing Depression and Anxiety, adjusting to life changes and transitions, having difficulty managing stress, and challenges with interpersonal relationships. I support healthy communication in relationships and explore parenting skills to encourage healthy family dynamics. I also work with the Deaf individuals and understand the cultural needs.

My approach to therapy

With my clients I take a person centered approach. Working together to develop goals to make positive changes in their lives. Theories and approaches that I use most with my clients are CBT, ACT, SMART goals, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Strengths Based, Spirituality, and Psychodynamic. I find laughter to be healing and when appropriate, humor can be heard in my sessions.

I am certified in Self Meaning Based Therapy utilizing Bilateral Stimulation to resolve negative corner stone meanings that we have assigned ourselves based on early childhood memories. Through rewiring these events we will see improvement in Depression, Anxiety and Trauma related symptoms.

What you can expect from me

I understand that each person has their own story and experiences that shape who they are today. If you are feeling stuck, uncertain, or hopeless I can provide you the support you are looking for. I take the time to learn about you and your unique needs, your background, and your hopes for the future.
