Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals and families through some of life's most difficult challenges. My career began working with children and families navigating a wide range of mental health diagnoses in both inpatient and outpatient settings. For the past six years, I have provided one-on-one treatment and crisis intervention services to incarcerated individuals — work that has deepened my ability to meet people where they are, without judgment, during moments of real crisis.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I believe in being honest and straightforward with my clients while creating a space grounded in empathy. Above all, my goal is to empower you — to help you build the skills, insight, and confidence to create meaningful change in your own life.

Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to face it alone. I'd be honored to work with you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's normal to feel a little nervous. My goal in our first session is simple: to help you feel comfortable and heard.

We'll spend time getting to know each other — this is your space, and building a trusting relationship is the foundation of everything we do together. I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, your history, and what matters most to you. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to.

Together, we'll begin discussing your goals — what you'd like to change, work through, or better understand. From there, we'll start shaping a treatment plan that fits you, not the other way around.

You don't need to prepare anything or have it all figured out. Just show up as you are — that's enough.
