Great to meet you!

If your mind doesn’t slow down—if you find yourself overthinking, feeling on edge, or emotionally overwhelmed even when everything looks “fine” on the outside—you’re not alone. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and emotional intensity. Many of my clients are high-functioning in their daily lives but feel stuck internally, caught in cycles of worry, self-doubt, or reactivity.

I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely understood and supported, without judgment. At the same time, I believe therapy should help you move forward—not just stay in the same patterns—so I’ll gently challenge you when needed while always respecting your pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which means I focus on helping you build practical, real-life skills to manage emotions, tolerate distress, and feel more in control of your thoughts and reactions.

I don’t believe therapy should only be about talking through problems—I believe it should give you tools you can actually use in your everyday life. Together, we’ll work on identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck and developing strategies that help you respond differently, with more clarity and confidence.

I also tailor therapy to each individual, integrating other approaches when helpful, while keeping the focus on what will create meaningful, lasting change for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to be different in your life.

You can expect a conversation that feels supportive, structured, and collaborative—not overwhelming or pressured. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I work and what therapy with me might look like, and we’ll begin identifying some initial goals or areas of focus.
