Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed counselor with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings within the counseling profession. I pride myself on building strong client rapport quickly so meaningful therapeutic work can begin right away.

My approach emphasizes client-centered, solution-focused counseling while incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. I have experience working with a variety of ages and stages in life. I am currently working with young adults, adults, and couples.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, solution-focused, and grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship quickly by providing a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. Together, we identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward realistic goals that support emotional wellness and personal growth.

I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs and experiences while helping clients build insight, resilience, confidence, and healthier ways of managing life’s stressors and relationships.

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Career uncertainty
  • Relationship challenges

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to ask questions about the therapy process and my role as your therapist. This session typically includes discussion questions and occasional assessments to help me better understand your current emotional and mental health needs.

My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where clients feel safe being vulnerable and empowered to work toward meaningful change. Clients often tell me I am easy to talk to and able to build rapport quickly, helping them feel at ease throughout the counseling process.
