Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, panic attacks, stress, and burnout. Before specializing in psychiatry, I spent more than 12 years as a registered nurse and 3 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in acute care. That background means I look at the whole picture: sleep, physical health, current medications, and life stressors, not just symptoms. Many clients come to me feeling stuck or unsure where to start. My goal is to help you feel like yourself again, with a clear plan you understand and agree with. Virtual appointments are available across Pennsylvania, often within the same week.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. You are the expert on your own life, so we make decisions together. I take time to understand your experiences, goals, and concerns, including any worries you have about medication, before we build a plan. Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, education about your diagnosis and options, and practical recommendations around sleep, stress, and routine. I start low and go slow with medications, check in regularly on how you're feeling and any side effects, and adjust as needed. You'll always know why we're doing what we're doing.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation in a relaxed, judgment-free setting. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, your current symptoms, your mental health and medical history, past and current medications, sleep, lifestyle, and any family history that may matter. By the end of the session you'll have a clear picture of what may be going on and a personalized treatment plan, which may include starting or adjusting medication if that's right for you. Feel free to bring questions or a list of medications you've tried before. Follow-up visits are shorter and focus on how you're doing and fine-tuning the plan.
