Great to meet you!

Stella Inyoung Lee, LCSW, is a tri-lingual Trauma specialty psychotherapist based in NYC providing psychotherapy services in English, Korean, Chinese-Mandarin. As an immigrant with diverse educational, religious, and family backgrounds growing up in multiple countries, I understand how difficult it can be to navigate various cultures, institutions, and systems.

She has about 15 years of experience in the field of social work, working as a clinician, researcher, educator.

My approach to therapy

Stella specializes in integrative trauma treatment modalities such as EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Somatic/ Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), TIST (Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment), MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy & Grief Bereavement Counseling.

What you can expect from me

The pandemic changed everyone's world, including yours and mine. As a trauma therapist, I witnessed direct and indirect trauma, many forms of grief, exacerbated by so much hatred and discrimination, on top of the current challenges of being isolated with a lack of help and support.

I am here to help. Together we will identify and strategize ways to live the life that you hope for. Also, I will help remind you that you are important, you are cared for, and you absolutely do belong.
