I’m Stella Okonkwo, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and I am dedicated to providing compassionate, virtual care for patients navigating mental health challenges. I hold a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Winston-Salem State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatry from Walden University. With extensive experience in substance abuse treatment. I am committed to providing holistic and collaborative care to address your mental health needs.

I offer professional, holistic, individualized, and evidence-based care specializing in medication management across the lifespan. My expertise includes working with individuals dealing with conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and opioid use disorder.

My approach is person-centered, and I work closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that promote long-term wellness. I am passionate about creating a positive impact by supporting patients in their journey toward healing and self-improvement.

Clients can expect a comprehensive, 45-to-60-minute initial psychiatric evaluation focused on building a safe, judgment-free space to understand your history, current symptoms, and wellness goals. We will spend the first few minutes going over consent forms, HIPAA confidentiality, and addressing any immediate questions to help you feel comfortable.
