In 2019, I graduated from California State University of Bakersfield with a Master of Social Work and obtained my license in 2025. Prior to this, I spent 13 years working in community mental health and 3 years working with foster care. More recently, I worked as a clinical school social worker at a local high school. Through my experience, I found my niche working with adolescence and adults. My forward yet humorous approach creates a trusting and accepting environment laying a healthy foundation for vulnerability and growth.
Strength-based and solution-focused approach is how I empower my clients. I want them to be the experts in their lives and play an active role in their treatment. I steer from giving direct advice and instead support my client’s in developing perspectives, insights, and confidence to make independent decisions.
Like any relationship, getting to know each other is the first step. Much of our initial session will be spent building rapport and establishing your expectations. As first impressions can go a long way, this session will be your opportunity to determine if we are compatible.
