Great to meet you!

I am passionate about the therapy process and self-discovery I witness with clients. With that, I most enjoy the relationships that are created, being able to join them on their journeys through this thing called life.

With over 15 years of experience, I often run into individuals that worry their problems aren't therapy worthy. Sometimes therapy is just getting a tune up and other times it becomes a little more in depth because we like how the tune up helped. Together, we can come up with a plan that works best for you.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy which focuses on accepting what we can control in life and with that committing to living a value-driven life. Along with that, I pull from a wide variety of modalities which will help make our journey unique and tailored to your needs.

This is your journey, so I want to hear from you... what works, what doesn't work and we will come up with a plan together that best suits you.

If you have had therapy in the past, I am always curious about your previous paths to see what was helpful and not helpful so we can use that to help us with navigating our journey together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together has two goals, the first is to gather information to help us create goals for your treatment. The second is for both of us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. Do we vibe, are we a good personality match, does my counseling style match your needs?

I always stress to prospective clients that the relationship between them and the therapist is crucial for success in therapy. You need to feel comfortable to build a relationship, to trust, and then for change to occur. If we aren't vibing, that is ok. It is better for you to find someone that better fits your needs.
