Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Stephanie — a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 12 years of experience in Healthcare, serving clients across Florida via telehealth.

My practice, Better Minds Therapy & Wellness, provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, respected, and understood. I specialize in medication management and work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance use, sleep disorders, and mood disorders.

I have spent years working with survivors of domestic violence, helping individuals navigate crisis, find safety, and rebuild their lives. I bring both professional expertise and personal insight into mental health, trauma, and recovery — and I meet every client where they are without judgment.

I am proud to serve the diverse communities of Florida and offer services in both English and Spanish. Whether you're just beginning your mental health journey or looking for a provider who truly listens, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I create a safe space where clients feel heard and supported, and I meet each person where they are.

With over 12 years of experience in psychiatric and emergency care, I work with clients facing addiction, ADHD, mood and personality disorders, trauma, and aging-related concerns. I use a practical, holistic approach—combining medication management when appropriate with supportive therapy and real-life coping strategies to help clients feel more stable and in control.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you—your story, your challenges, your goals and what matters most to YOU. I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be honest and feel heard. Together, we’ll identify your priorities, start exploring strategies that fit your life, and lay the foundation for meaningful, and lasting change. My focus is helping you feel understood, supported, and more in control from the very beginning.
