Great to meet you!

My name is Stephanie Badia. I have been a licensed counselor in the state of Wyoming since 2023, and really enjoy helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, and abuse. I believe you are the expert in your story and your strengths within will assist you in overcoming all of the things challenging you and the changes life brings. Taking the first steps in seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and I am here to support you in that process.

Previously, I was in the military and worked as an intelligence professional with a combat deployment for Operation New Dawn. I left the military to raise my family and pursue a higher education in a mental health counseling career to better help others. Together with my husband, who is a combat disabled veteran, we are blessed to be raising our children in beautiful Wyoming. I feel it is very important to engage in and be aware of our mental health and the impact it has on our daily lives and relationships. I look forward to helping educate our communities, as well as my fellow neighbors, in establishing the life they are excited about.

Sometimes it's important to remember great things happen after hard struggles and I am here to support you through your journey.

My approach to therapy

I think it is important to get to know the person and understand how they would like to be supported. I have utilized multiple different therapy styles and like to remain flexible in my specialization because not one style works for everyone.

What you can expect from me

Typically, I like to give the client a little background on myself and let them share information about themselves. I think it is important for a person to take the lead on what they would like to work on and let me know what strategies might work best for them.
