Great to meet you!

I work with women navigating life transitions, including changes in relationships, family roles, and health. These experiences can bring anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the effects of trauma into focus, and can influence how thoughts, emotions, and the body interact.

As a yoga therapist and yoga teacher for over 25 years, mindfulness is a natural part of my work and informs how I understand and approach the mind body connection. I integrate mindfulness based stress reduction, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and somatic therapy into sessions in a way that supports awareness and emotional regulation.

My training as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, South Carolina and Delaware allows me to bring these approaches together in a way that is both clinically grounded and responsive to your experience.

My approach to therapy

I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and body responses are connected, especially during periods of anxiety and life transitions. As a licensed counselor and yoga therapist, I integrate both clinical and body-based approaches into the work. Sessions focus on building insight, improving emotional regulation, and creating changes that feel realistic and sustainable over time.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a warm, collaborative space to begin exploring the transition you are moving through. We will look at what has shifted in your relationships, roles, or health, and how those changes are showing up emotionally and in your body.

I will ask questions to understand your history and what you are noticing, while allowing space for the conversation to unfold in a way that reflects what matters most to you. You can expect a structured but natural flow, where we stay connected to what feels most relevant without needing to cover everything at once.

Mindfulness, somatic awareness, and attention to the nervous system are part of the session, supporting how you relate to what you are feeling and how your body responds during periods of change.

You will leave with a sense of how this work can support regulation, awareness, and more steady responses moving forward.
