Great to meet you!
I am a proud USAF veteran with over 22 years of experience in healthcare, including more than 10 years as a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
My journey into mental health began when a close relative suffered a significant head injury that changed the trajectory of our family’s life. In that moment, it became clear that my aspiration to be an accountant was not my true purpose. I knew I had to do something—not only to help my loved one, but to ensure they received the mental health care they needed and deserved.
That experience, combined with my deep desire to serve others—a value strengthened during my military career—set me on the path to psychiatric healthcare. More than two decades later, I still believe that this work is more than a profession—it is my calling.
I am passionate about helping people find hope, stability, and strength when life feels overwhelming. Clients often share that they feel heard and understood, and that reinforces why I do this work. I believe effective mental health care starts with truly listening and understanding each individual. Every person’s mental health journey is unique, and I strive to honor that in every treatment plan. Every success story reminds me why I am committed to this field.
