Great to meet you!
With 27 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth, and direct approach to therapy. I believe therapy does not always have to feel heavy, and I often use humor to help clients feel comfortable, build connection, and navigate difficult topics.
I work with individuals, couples, and families and have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, family conflict, trauma, and substance use concerns. I specialize in substance use and helping individuals and families better understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to help clients gain insight while also developing practical tools they can use in everyday life.
I believe in being supportive while also being honest and direct when needed. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, work through what is holding you back, and leave therapy with greater clarity, confidence, and practical strategies for moving forward.
