Great to meet you!

It is an absolute privilege to help you establish a safe, empowering baseline for your care where you can truly be yourself. I specialize in helping people navigate challenges like behavior modification, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. After graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's in Social Work, I obtained my Master of Social Work specializing in Mental Health from the University of Denver. Today, as a licensed clinical social worker, I am a Certified Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I have experience working with people from all walks of life and understand that everyone’s journey is unique. I will meet you where you are at, and we will build from there. I look forward to supporting you on your path to greater well-being, with a healthy mix of insight, support, and maybe a few laughs along the way.

My approach to therapy

I believe that balancing evidence-based practices with a deep personal connection is the best way to foster genuine emotional growth. I take a direct but supportive approach to therapy, and I believe in being both honest and compassionate. I also believe that sometimes laughter can be a powerful tool in making tough conversations a bit easier and at times is a great way to create space for healing and perspective. I believe that therapy is most effective when we are able to be open and authentic with each other. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic approaches, and Solution-Focused Therapy, but I always tailor my approach to what is going to work best for you. Together, we will work to identify patterns that might be holding you back, explore your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you feel more in control of your life. While I will be direct when necessary, and I might challenge you along the way, my goal is to always empower you to make meaningful changes and achieve tangible goals in your life.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for help takes courage, and my hope is that our time acts as a quiet refuge where you can step away from the heavy demands of your daily life. I am committed to creating a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can open up about whatever is on your mind right from the start. In our first session, we will gently explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. Whether you need a solid action plan or simply a space to process emotions, I am here to help. We will collaboratively outline a roadmap for your future to ensure you leave feeling fully heard, validated, and supported.
