Great to meet you!

I have been treating mental health and substance use disorders since 2013 and have worked in a variety of settings with people of all ages who present with a wide array of issues. I have a particular interest in working with first responders as well as women with trauma and/or anxiety symptoms that interfere with their relationships, their self-worth, and their overall worldview, but I enjoy working with adults from all walks of life.

My approach to therapy

My style is authentic, collaborative, warm, direct, and empowering. I believe clients are the experts on themselves. That said, therapy is meant to challenge you, and I aim to assist you in tapping into parts of yourself that have not yet been realized! I pull from multiple modalities but our working alliance is the backbone of all we do. I blend processing with practical, somatic-based coping skills based on client need and preference.

What you can expect from me

My primary focus initially is on developing a strong therapeutic relationship and gaining an understanding of what your strengths are and what you’re struggling with, and what has worked for you and what hasn’t. From there, we will tailor everything to your goals for therapy, keeping in mind that with new insights and growth, your goals may evolve!
