Stephanie Bottoni

As a licensed clinical social worker, I have been providing therapeutic services since 1997 to individuals and families in a variety of settings, including outpatient, school-based, in-home, and military settings. I've enjoyed working and living in Florida, Hawaii, and Qatar, and teaching at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.

Adversity can present an opportunity for amazing personal growth and understanding. I am passionate about taking a collaborative adventure with my clients as they gain new insights and obtain recovery life skills. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, adoption competency, strengths-based counseling, and a family systems approach, among others.

I will work with you to develop coping skills, tools and strategies for managing stress and anxiety, as well as a treatment plan specifically tailored for your needs. My approach is warm and interactive, and I strive to provide a safe, supportive environment where we can work toward reaching your goals.
