Great to meet you!

Hi there! I have experience providing services to various populations, to include trauma survivors, those in active addiction and recovery, those struggling with relationship stressors and attachment issues, various mental health disorders, and clients who are forensically involved in the legal system. I have both personal & professional experience with veterans and first responders, which helps me to have a unique understanding of this population.

My approach to therapy

My personal belief is that we are all carrying pain that can lead to some harmful thoughts and behaviors. My goal is to assist you in identifying the ways in which your pain manifests itself and help you build more positive ways of coping, processing, and healing. It is important to me that you feel supported and safe to be your authentic self. I can help you to gain insight into your behavioral patterns and how your background (including family experiences and upbringing) has influenced your current behavior. Ultimately, therapy is about what areas you hope to target!

What you can expect from me

I find that therapy works best when a collaborative approach is taken -- you are the expert on yourself and your life! I aim to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment and have a curious, compassionate, and empowering approach to help you meet your goals... I also implement humor, because sometimes a good laugh is needed!
