Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Stephanie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I commend your courage in taking the first steps toward feeling better. Please know that you are deserving of all the benefits this process has to offer. I have worked with people on issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ concerns, communication issues, self-esteem, substance abuse, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and trauma related to sexual/domestic abuse.

My approach to therapy

In my role, I aim to create a safe space for the emotional work needed for you to realize the vast possibilities for your life and wellbeing. I think it is important to use a holistic approach where we consider the mind-body connection to fully understand and address the effects of your experiences.

What you can expect from me

Clients typically feel "lighter" after their first session because they get to tell their story and I do my best to help them feel heard. However, for most clients, delving into the issues that brought them to therapy can feel increasingly hard and burdening before they begin to feel better about the overall process. This journey may be hard, but it is a worthwhile journey. I will be alongside you through whatever comes up for you. Consider me your ally in support of your personal growth.
