Great to meet you!

It can be overwhelming to think we might need help or to ask for help. Sometimes, life throws things at us that we simply don't know how to handle. I believe we have the capacity to get through challenges and come out stronger, but oftentimes, we need help to get ourselves to that point.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The decision to seek help through therapy is one which many people struggle with for some time before they make the first appointment. Everyone experiences stress factors in their lives. Counseling can start the healing process needed to become healthy and productive.

Relationships can give us joy and comfort, but can also disappoint and hurt. How do you react in those moments of negativity? Couples counseling is a way to learn how to interact with your partner in a healthy and positive way.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe in creating an atmosphere to remove roadblocks, clearing the way for you to move toward a happier, healthier life and relationship. Together we will identify the thoughts and behaviors that contribute to feelings of insecurity, anger, sadness, anxiety, shame, or disconnect.
