Great to meet you!

Since finishing my master's mid-pandemic, I've worked in crisis counseling, in-home therapy, schools, and an outpatient program — and every one of those settings taught me something new about what actual resilience looks like. I love working with the full range of ages, from young children through older adults, because I get to see the same core strengths show up in so many different ways.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and skills-first. I'm trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and certified in DBT, which means our sessions are structured around real tools you can use, not just a space to vent. If you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or mood swings, we'll look closely at the thoughts and patterns driving them and build concrete skills for managing emotion in the moment — the kind of skills that hold up between sessions, not just in the room. I'm also a certified substance use clinician, and I bring that same grounded, tool-driven lens to trauma, panic, family conflict, and relationship strain.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting the full picture — what's been going on, what you've already tried, and what you want to be different. From there, we build a plan with clear, workable steps instead of vague goals. You can expect direct feedback, skills you can actually take with you, and a therapist who treats you as the expert on your own life. Most clients tell me our work feels less like talking in circles and more like genuinely getting somewhere.

If you're ready to build steadier footing, I'd love to help.
