As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that mental health is vital to creating a balanced life. I understand that change is difficult, and it is not easy to ask for help! I enjoy working with people aged 18 and over with a variety of challenges. I have specialized experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, personality disorders, substance use and addictions.
I believe in working in collaboration with my clients to help them achieve their goals! I take a person-centered approach and incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to like CBT, DBT, attachment, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness to help clients identify challenges and overcome barriers together.
I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
