Stephanie Couyoute

I am Dr. Stephanie Couyoute, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Avenmind Health Group. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and bring more than 15 years of healthcare experience, including critical care, outpatient psychiatry, inpatient child and adolescent care, and older adult mental health. I provide virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients ages 16 and older experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related symptoms, sleep difficulties, stress, grief, and other mental health concerns.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on solutions. I take time to understand your symptoms, life experiences, medical history, and personal goals rather than focusing only on a diagnosis. I want you to understand your treatment options and feel comfortable asking questions. Together, we will create a personalized plan that may include medication management, supportive counseling, education, and practical strategies to improve your overall well being.

Your first session will be a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation in a calm and welcoming environment where you can speak openly without feeling judged. We will discuss what brought you to care, your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, daily life, and treatment goals. I will answer your questions and explain my recommendations clearly. Together, we will decide on the most appropriate next steps, which may include medication management, laboratory testing, referrals, or other supportive options. Before the session ends, we will review your treatment plan and schedule a follow up appointment when appropriate. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in your care.
