Great to meet you!

Hello, I’ve been a psychotherapist for the past 13 years treating substance abuse of all kinds including severe mental health concerns as well as domestic violence, trauma and PTSD. I’ve earned the experience through working through substance abuse facilities as well as agencies contracted through CPS visiting the homes of those affected. In the past 6 years I’ve worked with those who suffer from Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder in conjunction with their substance abuse.

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored to each and every client and it is eclectic meaning that I strive to use the theoretic approach that would be most effective for the presenting problem or issues. I see the therapeutic experience as collaborative between the client and the therapist, that you feel heard, seen, understood as well as respected.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will go over confidentiality, expectations, policies and what you see as your reason for seeking therapy at this time as well as providing you a warm, safe, welcoming environment where you can be vulnerable without judgement
