Great to meet you!

I believe therapy can be a place to better understand what you're going through while also figuring out what can genuinely help you move forward. I work with adolescents and adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

My style is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I'll give you room to be yourself without fear of judgment, but I'll also be honest and practical when needed. Together, we'll better understand what's getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop coping skills and strategies that can create meaningful change in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change starts with understanding what's happening beneath the surface and finding approaches that fit you as an individual. Therapy with me is collaborative and personalized. We'll explore the experiences and patterns contributing to your current challenges while also building on the strengths and resources you already have.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Behavioral Activation. I'll support and encourage you, but I'll also be honest and practical when it can help you grow. My goal is for our work to give you greater insight, healthier ways of coping, and tools you can continue using long after our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. We'll spend time getting to know one another, talking about what brought you to therapy, what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like life to look like moving forward. You don't need to have everything figured out before we begin.

You can expect warmth, honesty, and practical support throughout our work together. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize both the challenges you're facing and the strengths you can build on. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater clarity, stronger coping skills, and more confidence in your ability to handle whatever comes next.
