Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker supporting adolescents and adults through a variety of life challenges, including substance use, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

My professional background includes substance use assessments, individual therapy, and working with individuals at different stages of recovery and personal growth. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be yourself without fear or judgment. My approach is warm, compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative.

Reaching out can be very difficult, and I strive to meet each person where they are while helping them to identify strengths, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.

My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work together toward the life you want to build, and are deserving of.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is genuine, compassionate and understanding. I want my clients to feel like they can show up exactly as they are, without fear or judgment. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening to understand their experiences, and build a relationship based on trust and honesty.

I am supportive and encouraging, but also believe in being real with my clients, helping them recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I want our sessions to feel like a safe space where you can be honest, feel heard, laugh when appropriate, and work through the hard things together.

My goal is to walk beside you as you build on your own strengths, gain new perspectives, and make changes that feel meaningful, yet are realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my main goal is to get to know you. To help you feel comfortable. You don't have to come in knowing where to start or what to say, because we can get there together.

I'll ask questions along the lines of what brought you to therapy, what you are currently experiencing, and what you hope to get out of the time we have together. I hope it feels welcoming. There will never be pressure to share, only when you feel ready. We'll begin to identify what matters to you most and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and helpful for your life.
