Great to meet you!

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel supported, and better understand yourself. I take a psychodynamic and trauma-informed approach, meaning we look at how past experiences and relationships may still be influencing your present-day emotions and connections. When helpful, I incorporate creative and expressive approaches to support healing beyond just talking. I am committed to providing a warm, affirming environment for LGBTQ+ individuals and anyone seeking deeper self-understanding and connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is focused on helping you feel safe, supported, and understood. Together, we gently explore your emotions and life experiences, including how early relationships may still influence how you connect with others today. I also help clients better understand and care for the different “parts” of themselves, especially those shaped by stress or past hurt. When helpful, I incorporate creative and expressive tools to support emotional release, insight, and greater self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. You can expect to talk about what’s been going on for you, your goals for therapy, and what support might be most helpful right now. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, and you’re always welcome to share only what feels comfortable. The goal of the first session is to help you feel supported, informed, and grounded as we begin.
