Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Supervisor, I believe therapy should be both supportive and purposeful. . I offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and build new ways of coping.

My areas of specialization include forensic and court-ordered treatment, personality difficulties, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, life transitions, etc. I also have training and experience supporting military members, veterans, and their families, helping them navigate the unique challenges of service life, reintegration, and identity shifts.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is most effective when you feel truly heard, understood, and supported—but also gently challenged to grow. My approach combines empathy with a focus on meaningful change. I create a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, gain new insight, and begin taking practical steps toward the life you want.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m both compassionate and active in the process. I don’t just listen; I help you identify patterns, build new skills, and move toward lasting change. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship challenges, self-doubt, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to develop strategies that align with your goals and strengths.

My style integrates evidence-based approaches—such as cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, mindfulness, and relational techniques—with genuine curiosity and care. You decide the course and the pace, and I’ll provide both the support and the structure to help you move forward.

If you’re ready for therapy that feels both safe and energizing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey of growth and change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. It is also an opportunity to see if the alliance is present. If not that is ok. My style is supportive but direct—I aim to create a space that feels both safe and productive. You can expect me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer feedback that helps you start moving toward change from the very first session.
