Great to meet you!

My name is Stephanie Erickson, LCSW. I earned my Master's of Social Work in 1995 and have practiced in various clinical settings. In my 28 years of practice, I have worked with individuals of all ages - from 4 years old until 102! I love guiding and supporting individuals as they navigate through, and beyond, life's challenges. I help clients look at how their past influences their relationships and choices, and how to use this insight to identify, communicate, and create the life they desire.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach helps clients identify their past and current thoughts and behavioural patterns. This insight helps them work through and beyond life's stressors, including relationships difficulties, work challenges and stressful family dynamics. Guilt, shame, anger, anxiety, sadness and grief are explored and released. Skills are gained and life begins to happen for you, not against you. With speciality training in Dementia, I can assist families navigate these challenges as well.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel heard and understood. They will gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how their thoughts and choices impact their perception of their circumstances and the choices they make. This will empower clients to make changes that will lead to increased happiness and peace.
