My path to becoming a mental health provider was shaped by my experience as a single parent working multiple jobs. I saw how often mental health is overlooked, particularly for people juggling work, family, and other responsibilities. A big part of this is due to barriers like limited access to care and inflexible scheduling. This motivated me to pursue a career where I could offer accessible and flexible mental health services. My goal is to provide a supportive space where individuals can prioritize their mental health without worrying about rigid appointments or limited options, ensuring care is available to everyone when they need it
When working with me, I focus on understanding your history and experiences, not just your current symptoms or diagnosis. I believe it's important to explore where your feelings and challenges come from so we can identify and break down any barriers. My intake process involves getting to know you as a person and understanding the factors that have shaped your current struggles. Progress looks like increased self-awareness and replacing old patterns with healthier ways of coping. I prefer to work with clients who are open to exploring their past and motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I hope clients leave each session feeling empowered, seen, and truly understood. My goal is to create a space where they can explore their experiences safely and gain insight, tools, and confidence to navigate life with more clarity and self-compassion.
