It's all about the "Listen". It's a privileged position to be able to hear the stories of others. I have always enjoyed the connection that comes through paralleled experiences and heartfelt sharing. It amazes me that while we share so many of the same roles (i.e., wife, adult-daughter, sister, mother, and friend) we experience them so very differently. In 30-years of professional experience crossing all age-groups, it comes to this....I love people....and all that come with them.

Therapy work does NOT have to be painful in order to prove progress and growth. You are the expert on YOU. Therefore, we work in collaboration to figure things out, correct what we can using our strengths, and develop those natural tendencies toward resilience until YOU have reached where you want to be.

My priority has always been to allow for a positive experience during a challenging time with the emotional room to see a light at the end of a tunnel. I want it remembered....MOST things are "figure-outable", and that which we can't....can be managed.
