Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. In 2011, I moved to Lubbock, TX to begin a long journey toward my own self-growth and healing. There, I attended Texas Tech University and received a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S in Human Development and Family Studies. After a year of post undergraduate work, I decided to continue my education and went on to graduate with a M.S in Couple, Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on Addiction in the Family.

My approach to therapy

With training in couple, marriage and family therapy, I work from a systemic perspective with all clients, meaning that I will gather information about all areas of an individual’s life to assess the effect that each area may have on the others. In session, my clinical work heavily incorporates emotionally focused, experiential, and solution-focused therapy.

What you can expect from me

As someone who has struggled with mental health and received support from countless loving individuals over the years, it is always my mission to extend the same level of compassion and care to my clients. I believe that therapy provides a space for individuals, couples, and families to share their experiences and pain, and find ways to transform darkness into light .
