Great to meet you!

Hello!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA) based in North Carolina and have been practicing social work (a combination of behavioral health counseling and related services) since 2007.

I enjoy working with adults across the life span, with a particular love for those in the 18-25 life transition period, and LGBTQIA+ folks.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a customized approach for each of my clients, based on their needs and preferences. The modalities I mainly use are ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and some Expressive Arts Therapy. I'm also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), which means I have training in providing trauma-informed therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I help my clients feel heard, seen and understood. From our first session, I would encourage you to create your own vision for therapy; then, we would chart a course from there.

I am well-suited to clients who find it challenging to recognize or articulate their needs, those for whom daily life has become overwhelming due to various factors such as mood disorders, occupational or parenting stress, relationship issues, or trauma, and individuals seeking to become their "best selves."
