Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Stephanie Giammichele, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy is a space to safely explore, heal, and embrace your most authentic self. I work with individuals navigating grief, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting challenges, substance use, and women’s issues.

My style is affirming, open-minded, and warm. I strive to create a nurturing environment where you feel heard and supported as you learn to understand yourself more deeply. I believe everyone holds unique strengths and values that deserve to be explored and expressed, and my role is to help you reconnect with those parts of yourself that have been waiting to emerge.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has a unique set of values that deserve to be explored and expressed. It is my life’s work to assist clients in gaining insight into their inner drives and learning to manage the stressors and obstacles that are part of the human experience.

Depending on your needs, I utilize a humanistic, client-centered, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed lens to help you reach your therapeutic goals and deepen your understanding of yourself. As part of your journey toward embracing your true self, we’ll use mindfulness skills and distress-tolerance techniques to build a coping toolbox curated specifically for you and your unique needs.

My goal is to provide a collaborative, compassionate, and empowering environment where you can safely explore your experiences, connect with your inner strengths, and move toward growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

During our sessions, you can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere where I will ask thoughtful questions to get to know you and begin building our therapeutic alliance and journey together.

You’ll have space to share what feels most important to you and are always encouraged to ask questions about the structure of sessions and my therapeutic approach.

Each session is designed to meet you where you are—supporting your goals, honoring your pace, and helping you gain insight into your emotions and patterns. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and more connected to yourself.
